Youth Horizons

Sundays

Horizons

Horizons is MBC’s program for students in middle school and high school.  We meet on Sunday evenings from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

We begin our weekly meetings with a snack supper before having a Bible study, a time of fellowship and a mission activity.

In addition to providing a place for students to create friendships with their peers in a Christian environment, we strive to offer opportunities for fellowship, missions and service where our youth can work together to make a difference in the lives of others.

 Youth Schedule

We will be taking a break from our normal Sunday night meetings during July, but special mission projects, events and activities are planned.  Check the bulletins and calendar for more details.  Stay Cool!

Congratulations Jacob on your graduation from Sanderson High School!

Youth Missions

  Campbell's Soup Labels for Crossnore

Please remember your labels for the children at Crossnore.  You can send the entire label, but the UPC code is really all that is needed.  You will find the "Campbell's" cans in the Fellowship Hall and upstairs in the Covenant Classroom.  Thanks!

Aluminum Cans for Habitat

A great big "THANK YOU" to ALL who have helped with the recycling efforts for Habitat for Humanity.  Keep those soda cans coming!

POP the TOP

You know those cans you are saving and bringing to church to support Habitat for Humanity?  Well, before dropping them off, POP the TOP to support Ronald McDonald House!  Just look for the 'houses' in the fellowship hall to put your can tabs.

Youth Mission Project for the Homeless
The Youth collected toilet articles for the homeless that they delivered while serving breakfast to the homeless on May 2nd.  This has become an ongoing project for the youth.  We plan to serve again in August.
