Rev. Andrea Dellinger Jones has been the Senior Pastor at Millbrook Baptist Church since April 2008. Originally from Rome, Georgia, Andrea served various churches in Georgia and Virginia prior to moving to North Carolina. During her pastorate at Millbrook, she has also taught courses as an adjunct professor at Duke Divinity School and Campbell Divinity School. This additional teaching allows her to mentor women discerning their call to pastoral ministry.
Andrea graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis and earned a master of divinity degree from Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology. She later finished her doctorate in ministry from Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond. Andrea met her husband, Brent, while they both attended seminary at McAfee. Brent also finished a doctorate, specializing in American religious history at the University of Virginia.
Both Andrea and Brent are ordained ministers committed to the local church in different ways. They’re adoring parents, too, who are happy to have their young daughter, Anne Elyse Avila Jones, learn and grow at Millbrook Baptist Church.
