The Breakfast Club

Tea ~ Pray ~ Love

January 11^th - May 9^th

9:15 am Wednesdays, Room 207

Again this school semester, Andrea will facilitate a time for parents in our preschool and church community to cultivate friendships, share stories, and pray for our children over a cup of hot tea.  You are invited to come!

Music and Movement at MBP

In addition to daily music in their classrooms, children come to weekly group music classes where they have many opportunities to explore and create through listening, singing, sign language, moving alone and with various objects and equipment, as well as learning to play a wide variety of pitched and percussion instruments.

Music is vitally important for the development of auditory, locomotor and non-locomotor skills, finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and muscle development, in addition to self-expression through group participation and socialization.

Much of the Music and Movement program is based on a teaching process called Orff-Schulwerk. This is a child-centered process where the children are always actively involved in creating fun-filled curriculum-based music!
