For Sunday morning closings, please check with the local television stations.

We will notify the stations of any possible closings or delays.

Labyrinth & Memorial Garden

Millbrook's labyrinth is open to anyone who
wishes to have a quiet place to meditate and pray.
Meditation guides are available at the labyrinth.


Minister to Children & Families

Minister to Children & Families

Millbrook Baptist Church is seeking a part time Minister to Children and Families. The desired candidate will have (or be working on) a master’s degree from an accredited seminary or divinity school, experience working with children in Christian education and/or weekday early education. This person will be responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive programs for children, be a liason for our PreSchool program and provide pastoral care to children and their families.
Salary range $15,000 - $20,000 per year.

On the first day of Holy week, we remember the joyful shouts of "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord" as Christ entered Jerusalem. It sets our scene for the rest of the week.

Maundy Thursday

April 2nd
5:30 PM Fellowship Dinner 6:30 PM Maundy Thursday Service
Our service will consist of a rite of hand washing, observance of the Lord's Supper, and the darkening of the sanctuary in preparation for remembering the death of Christ.
We will have a fellowship meal on Thursday instead of Wednesday this week, so please make your reservations with the church office if you'd like to attend the meal.

Good Friday

April 3rd, 6:30 PM
This service will be an evening of reflection on the events of Christ's trial and crucifixion as we read the Stations of the Cross.

Path to Peace: Celebrate Easter on the Labyrinth

Sunday, April 5th
The annual Easter Sunrise Labyrinth Walk will occur on Sunday, April 5. The service will begin at 6:30 AM with a prayer and call to worship and will conclude following the walk with a closing prayer. Journals will be available for anyone who wants to reflect on their experience through writing. We hope you will join us for this meaningful service. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held in the sanctuary and hand labyrinths will be used.

Resurrection Sunday

April 5th
Again this year we will have an opportunity for everyone to adorn our cross in the sanctuary with fresh-cut flowers representing new life in Christ. Please bring your flowers as early as 9:00 AM before you go to Sunday school. Our celebration of Christ's resurrection will culminate at the end of the worship hour with a live butterfly release on the Labyrinth! This day we'll celebrate that "Christ the Lord is risen! Christ the Lord is risen indeed!

LabyrinthLabyrinth Prayer Walk 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
The Labyrinth Committee invite you to participate in a labyrinth prayer walk from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. The walk will begin with a short devotional relating to current events and/or needs of our community. If you are not able to walk, benches in the sacred garden are available for you to use during your meditation time. In case of inclement weather, we will meet in the sanctuary and use finger labyrinths for our prayer time. We hope you will join us for this spiritual opportunity.

Sole Hope Weekend

April 18th
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Come one; Come all to our Annual Sole Hope Day! The big day will be Saturday, April 18 in the fellowship hall. We will be cutting shoes and making bears for both children and adults in Africa. We need all the help we can get. There will be a lunch on Saturday as well as good food, fun and fellowship. Don't miss out on it! Check out more about Sole Hope on their website HERE!
